Outstanding Value! November 17, 2008 Reviewer: Robert Buddy from Boca Raton, FL United States   I purchased this product a few weeks ago and am thrilled by it's performance.  It does the job of units costing $100's more.  It has personal digital recorder capabilities almost of a Tivo or a dvr from the cable company without the monthly charges. I have an antenna on the roof and attached it to this unit.  I have my desktop compter next to my TV and ran my Svideo out from my computer to my TV.  Then I ran an optical cable from my computer to my digital receiver.  I now receive digital TV over the air in DVD quality with a crystal clear picture along with Dolby surround sound.  Awesome!!   This unit is not perfect.  The on-screen display could be bigger and it would be nice to have the remote display the current signal quality.  But for the money this product is an outstanding value! I like this product so much I am buying another one.  And a "Good Job!" to ChiefPick for processing the transaction effortlessly and promptly! Was this review helpful to you?

overall pretty good August 20, 2006 Reviewer: James Wang from Tarzana, CA United States   havent had any experience with tv tuners so this was my first time buying anything like this...after several friends consulted me in how it works and installing it, got it to work ! like the other reviewers said, pretty good reception and picture quality! definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to buy a decent tv tuner!! Not bad at all July 19, 2006 Reviewer: Angus An from Peoria, IL United States   I got it working finally when search under "united states virgin islands" area and NTSC_M_J signal.  The antenna reception was not that good, kind of blurry, really not watchable on most of the channels picked up by the tiny antenna.  but when I connected to cable, it all worked out.  The cable reception is perfect.  All channels are crystal clear.  I noticed it does eat up lots of cpu resource.  I then tried the recording.  It takes about 15 mb for 1 minute for "low" quality recording, about 30 mb for 1 minute "high" quality recording.  Both recorded video are good enough.  not much flickerings, but still some flickerings, I guess faster pc may overcome this problem.   Overall it's a neat little device.  Not bad at all!
